A meeting for FALL sport athletes will be held on August 9th at the Waubun High School at 6:00pm. Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the first primary source of all practice and fall season information from your coaches. This meeting is ONLY for student-athletes who plan on participating in a fall activity such as football, volleyball, or cheerleading.
We are also excited to announce that in partnership with our local providers, Sports Physicals will be provided to athletes who pre-register! MAHNOMEN STUDENTS, can pre-register with Aimee at the information below or via email, space is limited. Please note that the sports physical clinic (5:00-8:00pm) is open to any students who need an updated physical for the upcoming school year.
Don't forget to get registered for your fall sport, should you have questions please contact Aimee. If you need access to a device/internet, a mobile lab will be available at the fall sports meeting. Reminder, no athletes are eligible to participate in practice until registration is complete.

Fourth graders in our summer STEAM program have been learning about space! They made solar ovens and after writing detailed steps on how to make s'mores, they made them! Yum!!

Final Day of the trip having fun in NYC! Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration, 9/11 Memorial and Ground Zero.
Day 5 took the group to NYC: A subway experience, Central Park, Wicked on Broadway, Times Square and Rockefeller Center! Check back for today’s adventures!
Yesterday was Day 4 in DC: Mount Vernon, National Museum of the U.S. Army, Smithsonian Museums, and a night out in National Harbor! Today, the group headed to NYC!
DC Day 3: International Spy Museum, Smithsonian of Natural History, Washington Monument, and the Air & Space: Udvar-Hazy Center!
DC Day 2: Arlington National Cemetery, Holocaust Memorial Museum, White House & Lafayette Square, War Memorials, and Lincoln Memorial!
Mahnomen students have landed in DC! A full first day included a stop at the U.S Capital, visit to the FDR, Jefferson, and MLK Memorials, and MORE! Adventures in DC continue tomorrow!
The Mahnomen Pool will be offering one session of swimming lessons in July. Level 2, 3 and 4 will be offered. Registration is open online via google form, payment is due 1st day of lessons.
Level 1, 5 & 6 will not be offered at this time. Contact the pool to be put on a waiting list.
