Three of our students from the Mahnomen High School Choir recently participated in the 63rd Annual Fall Choral Festival at East Grand Forks Senior High School! Jesse Kuznia, Nina Lamb-Lopez and Freya Larson along with other students from East Grand Forks, Ada-Borup-West, Bagley, Crookston, Sacred Heart and Warren-Alvarado-Oslo High Schools worked with guest conductor Dr. Joseph Kemper from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. There were over 200 students who came together and practiced 2 songs throughout the afternoon with the clinician, and presented a concert!
This choral festival started in 1959 by three area choral directors: Garfield Reichert of Crookston, Don Danielson of East Grand Forks and Bryant Ulseth of Thief River Falls. We are PROUD of our Music Department!
